Destinations
We ship within Canada and the USA, Monday through Friday. Canadian shipments are generally delivered by Canpar.
Once we receive your order, we prepare your basket and ship no later than the next business day. If your order is received before 10am (Eastern time), we will ship the same day you order - many orders can be delivered as soon as the next business day, depending on your recipient's location.
Please note: we do not deliver any baskets on the same day as the order is placed - all of our products are carefully packaged and shipped via a trusted commercial carrier, delivering only Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays.
Yes, we ship to the Canadian Territories, but since CANPAR does not serve the territories and we will have to find an alternate carrier, we may not be able to provide the convenient tracking feature on these deliveries.
Rates and Delivery Times
Note: All rates are in Canadian dollars. Gift baskets are generally large items, and the shipping costs are based on the average size of the box. We do not inflate our shipping rates - you pay what we pay. We are located centrally in Ontario, so shipping from coast to coast is generally within one week of ordering.
Delivery times do not include the day we ship. If we ship on a Tuesday, a 1 day shipping time means that delivery will be on Wednesday, even if you PLACED your order later in the day on Monday.

Safe Arrival
Our packages are meticulously packed to ensure safe arrival at your door. Once your order has been shipped, we will be happy to provide you with the tracking number. The tracking number can used to locate your package at CANPAR's web site. Every package we ship has a tracking number so we'll be able to help make sure your gift basket gets to its destination quickly and safely.
We are unable to accept time specific deliveries. How long it will take for your package to be delivered is not guaranteed unless SELECT shipping is chosen. Shipping duration reflects BUSINESS days (weekends and holidays excluded).
Non Delivery/Re-Delivery
If a recipient is not home when a gift is delivered, the gift will be left with a neighbour and a note will be left on the door of the recipient informing them of the location of their gift. If this is not possible, a note will be left on the door instructing the recipient either to call the number provided to arrange for delivery or to sign the note with instructions on where to leave the gift for a re-delivery attempt the following business day. After two attempts, the gift will be returned to us. We will inform you immediately for further delivery instructions. An extra delivery charge will apply.
Incorrect Address
If a basket is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you, we will contact you immediately for a correction, and the package will be re-shipped at an additional shipping fee. Please check your addresses carefully! Including a daytime phone number for the recipient is highly recommended.
NSR (No Signature Required)
At your request, we will instruct CANPAR to leave a gift on the porch or by the back door with a "NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED" sticker. However, we assume no responsibility for the package against theft, weather, or any other occurrence once the package has been left in the requested location.
Return Policy
Single orders, which are cancelled after they have been built, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Multiple orders, which are cancelled after they have been built, are subject to a 50% restocking fee.
Due to the nature of balloons, balloon orders which have been inflated in preparation for shipping, are non-refundable.
All damaged shipments must be reported within 5 business days. We will make every effort to replace damaged items within this time, however we cannot be responsible for damage not reported within this time frame. Please ask your recipient to keep all damaged merchandise and packaging as it may be requested by the carrier.
Any goods returned to Clare's Gift Baskets of Canada without prior authorization will not be refunded. The shipping costs of unauthorized returns will not be refunded. All goods authorized for return by Clare's Gift Baskets of Canada must be in their original box and in the condition they were received. No credits or replacements will be processed until the returned merchandise is received by us. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
All orders cancelled after the credit card has been processed are subject to a $5.00 cancellation fee.
Holiday baskets returned to us because our carrier (CANPAR) was unable to deliver them for any reason are non-refundable.
